What tixandvotes is
tixandvotes runs paid voting for award shows, pageants, talent hunts, campus and church competitions in Nigeria. Organizers set up a competition with categories and contestants. Fans pay to vote from any device, and everyone follows the same live leaderboard.
How the money moves
- A fan picks a contestant and how many votes to buy.
- They pay the vote price for those votes, plus the payment processing fee, shown before they pay.
- Votes count only once the payment is confirmed. Nothing is counted for a payment that fails.
- At the moment of payment the money is split: the organizer's 90% of the vote money goes to their own bank account, usually by the next business day, and tixandvotes keeps 10%.
- There is no wallet and nothing to withdraw: we never hold an organizer's money.
