1. Votes
Votes are final once counted: they aren't refunded or moved to another contestant, including if the wrong contestant was picked, a contestant withdraws, or a competition is decided differently from the vote count.
We refund the full amount, including the processing fee, when:
- you were charged but your votes were not counted, for example a payment confirmed more than 60 minutes after voting closed (we refund these without you asking);
- you were charged twice for the same checkout;
- a competition is removed by us for breaking our rules before its results stand (we decide case by case).
2. Organizer unlock fee
The one-time unlock fee (₦10,000.00) is non-refundable once your account is unlocked. If you were charged twice, we refund the extra payment.
3. How to ask
Email hello@tixandvotes.com from the address you paid with,
with the payment reference from your receipt (it starts with tv-). We reply within 2 business days.
4. How long it takes
Approved refunds go back to the card or account you paid with through our payment provider, usually within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank. Votes from a reversed payment are removed.
